American painter, Thomas Kinkade (January 19, 1958 – April 6, 2012), has some of the most recognizable artwork of our generation. If you’ve been to any mall in America or retirement home, you’ve more than likely have seen his work. It is estimated that 1 in 20 American homes is decorated with a copy of one of his paintings, a fact found via Wikipedia. Artist, Jeff Bennett, has decided to add some galactic flare to the late artist’s work by incorporating characters and themes of the Star Wars franchise to Kinkade’s paintings.
